Need Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Today? Start With Pickup

You found the sofa. You can pay for it today. Now you need to know whether you can sleep, sit, or eat on your new furniture tonight.

Same-day pickup depends on Raymour & Flanigan releasing your specific order and transportation being available within the collection window. Hiring a truck solves the transportation part. The store still needs to make the furniture available for collection.

Raymour & Flanigan offers pickup at local showrooms or service centers and directs shoppers to their Home Furnishing Consultant to arrange it. Its published delivery FAQ says most items arrive through its delivery service within five to seven days, so pickup is worth asking about when you need an earlier option.

Does Raymour & Flanigan offer same-day delivery?

No. R&F’s published delivery page does not establish a general same-day furniture delivery service. It says most deliveries take five to seven days, with preferred dates selected during checkout.

The company separately advertises next-day delivery for eligible mattresses. That offer does not establish same-day availability for a sofa, dresser, or dining set.

If you need furniture today, ask the selling showroom whether your order can be collected today. Then arrange the vehicle and carrying help around the answer.

Get it moved

1. Ask the showroom to arrange collection of your order

Contact your Home Furnishing Consultant or the showroom handling the purchase. Have your order number and item details ready.

Use a direct request:

“I want to arrange pickup of this order today rather than wait for delivery. Can it be released for collection today, and which location should the mover go to?”

Get the pickup address and collection window from the person handling your order. R&F offers collection through showrooms and service centers, so the address where you shopped may differ from the collection address.

If you need the showroom’s contact details, use R&F’s store locator. Its published help number is 1-888-729-6687.

Before booking transportation, get an answer for every piece you purchased. A sectional may have several components; a bedroom order may include separate rails, slats, drawers, and a headboard.

If only part of the order is ready, decide whether collecting that portion solves your immediate need.

2. Put the person collecting it on the order

Sending a driver your receipt is only part of arranging third-party pickup.

R&F’s current policy permits collection by the purchaser or an authorized individual listed on the order, and requires valid photo identification at pickup. Source: R&F customer pickup policy.

Tell the showroom that you intend to use a mover. Ask how to add the assigned person’s name and what documentation they must bring.

Once you have the mover’s details, complete that authorization before the vehicle leaves for collection.

Also ask the showroom how its pickup waiver must be completed when someone collects on your behalf. R&F requires acknowledgment of its pickup policy and a signed waiver before collection.

3. Book transportation from the collection address to your room

Once R&F has provided the release arrangement and collection window, check a Laborhutt price.

Start with:

  1. The confirmed showroom or service-center pickup address.
  2. Your home delivery address.
  3. Every furniture piece being collected.
  4. The date options shown for your move.

Laborhutt’s current booking flow prices the move by date. Payment books the move, after which a vetted mover is assigned.

For a same-day request, make sure the available service can meet R&F’s collection window. Complete the store’s authorization process using the assigned mover’s details before dispatch.

Include the carry into your home. A sofa going up two flights needs a different description from a boxed chair going through a ground-floor entrance.

Specify stairs, elevator access, parking, and the destination room. If you cannot help lift, say so.

4. Arrange loading help and equipment with the mover

R&F’s pickup policy places loading responsibility on the customer. Staff may assist at their discretion, but they do not secure the load. The policy also says customers should bring their own protective materials, securing equipment, and additional help for heavy pieces.

Give the mover the furniture dimensions and ask them to provide a suitable vehicle, enough carrying help, and the equipment needed for the trip.

R&F can refuse collection when a vehicle is unsafe, too small, overloaded, or otherwise unsuitable.

A useful booking description would be:

“Collect one sofa and one ottoman from the service-center address on my order. R&F has provided a collection window of [time]. Deliver both to my second-floor living room, with one flight of stairs and no elevator. I cannot help lift. Please include loading, securing the furniture, unloading, and carrying it inside.”

Add assembly separately if you need it. R&F describes in-person pickup as an option for shoppers who will handle assembly themselves, so ask how your purchase will be supplied and arrange any work you need at home.

Is independent pickup cheaper than R&F delivery?

Get both totals for your order before deciding.

R&F says White-Glove Delivery pricing depends on the delivery ZIP code and merchandise cart total. Its FAQ gives an illustrative $69.99 delivery fee for a $600 order to ZIP code 13212, while the same order to ZIP code 10001 may produce an $84.99 fee. These are R&F’s published examples, not quotes for your purchase.

Compare the services as well as the prices:

Independent pickup may be useful because of timing even when it does not save money. Choose it when the confirmed collection arrangement and transportation meet your needs.

Have the furniture checked before the trip home

Arrange for the person collecting your order to check the pieces and photograph any visible concerns before departure.

R&F’s pickup policy requires claimed merchandise damage to be reported to the original showroom within 24 hours of pickup. Keep the receipt, collection documents, and photos together, and read the policy before choosing customer pickup.

At home, have the route to the room clear and any elevator or building access arranged. Measure tight doorways and turns before collection so a successful pickup can become a successful delivery.

What if the furniture cannot be collected today?

Ask for the earliest date it can be released and compare that with R&F’s offered delivery date.

An independent mover cannot collect merchandise the retailer has not released. If today is unavailable, book transportation around the confirmed date rather than sending a truck to wait.

Already have an R&F delivery scheduled? Use its order tracker to review the order, and contact the showroom before changing the fulfillment arrangement.

Get the release arranged, then get the furniture home

Start with the showroom handling your purchase. Obtain the collection address, release window, and process for authorizing your mover.

Then check Laborhutt’s available dates and price, book the complete trip, and give the assigned mover the order instructions.

That is the route to getting your furniture home sooner: a ready order, an authorized collector, and transportation that can complete the job within the store’s window.

Research checked October 26, 2026. Pickup timing depends on the order and location; same-day transportation depends on availability. Laborhutt is an independent service, and no official R&F partnership is implied.
