This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services booked through the Laborhutt platform ("Laborhutt," "we," "us"). This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Customers may cancel in the web app (recommended) or by contacting Laborhutt support using the contact method listed on our website. A cancellation is considered effective when it is confirmed in-app or time-stamped by support.
There is no free cancellation window. If you initiate a Customer Cancellation for a Booking, a $5 cancellation fee applies.
If you want to change the date/time, you may request a reschedule in-app or via support. Rescheduling depends on mover availability and may require a new Booking.
If a reschedule results in canceling the original Booking, the $5 cancellation fee applies and a new Booking may be required.
If you (or your representative) are not available at the pickup/drop-off location or at the Scheduled Start Time (or within any stated arrival window), Laborhutt may treat this as a Customer Cancellation. In that case, the $5 cancellation fee applies, and additional charges may apply if any work has started or costs have been incurred.
If a mover cancels, Laborhutt will use commercially reasonable efforts to help you find a replacement mover.
If you choose not to rebook after a mover cancellation, Laborhutt will refund eligible amounts paid, and the $5 cancellation fee will be waived/refunded for that canceled Booking.
If any portion of the service has already been performed, or if costs have already been incurred (including but not limited to certain processing fees or third-party charges), those amounts may be non-refundable. Any refund eligibility will be determined based on the specific facts of the Booking.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Refund timing varies by payment processor and financial institution; please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear.
If you believe the cancellation fee was charged in error, contact Laborhutt support and include your Booking ID and a brief explanation.
We may update this policy from time to time. The Effective Date above indicates when the current version applies.
